Terms of Service

Last updated 26 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Slen for the use of Slen. We wrote them to be read: plain words, short sections. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Slen is operated by Slen (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to the website slen.ai, the console at app.slen.ai, the Slen API and the SDKs (together, “the Service”).

By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use Slen for a company, you confirm that you may accept them on its behalf; “you” then means you and that company.

2. The Service

Slen lets you control what your applications spend on AI models. You build flows that estimate the cost of a model call, check it against budgets or against your own customers’ credits, reserve the amount, call the model through a provider you connect, and settle the real cost afterwards. The console shows operations, executions and spending.

Slen is in a closed beta. Features may change, appear or be removed while we build it, and some may be marked as a preview.

3. Your account and your team

  • You must be at least 18 years old and use Slen for your work or business.
  • Give a real name and an email address you control. You can sign up with a password or with your Google account.
  • Keep your password and your API keys secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your keys; tell us at support@slen.ai if you think one has been misused.
  • An organization has members with roles — owner, admin, developer, finance, viewer. The owners and admins of an organization decide who is invited and what each member can see and change. The data of an organization belongs to it, not to individual members.

4. Your data

What you put into Slen — flows, budgets, settings, the data your applications send in requests, and the results — stays yours. You give us the right to store and process it only as far as needed to run the Service for you, keep it secure and fix problems.

You decide what your applications send to Slen. If that includes personal data of your own users (for example, text they wrote or an identifier of your customer), you are responsible for having a legal basis to process it and for telling them about it. For this data we act on your instructions, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. AI providers you connect

Slen does not sell access to AI models. You connect your own accounts with model providers (for example OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) using your own credentials. When a flow calls a model, Slen sends the request to that provider on your behalf and receives the answer.

  • Your agreement with each provider, its terms and its prices apply to those calls. The provider charges you directly.
  • Cost estimates and budget checks reduce the risk of overspending but depend on the prices and token counts we know of; the provider’s invoice is what counts.
  • Model outputs can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. You are responsible for how you use them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Slen to:

  • break the law or the rights of others, or to process data you are not allowed to process;
  • break the terms of the AI providers you connect;
  • attack, overload or probe the Service, get around its limits and rate limits, or access accounts and data that are not yours;
  • copy, resell or offer the Service to others as your own without our written agreement.

We may limit or block requests that put the Service or other customers at risk.

7. Fees

During the closed beta we do not charge for Slen, and Slen does not take payments. Your AI providers charge you for the calls you make through them. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance, and you will be able to decide whether to continue.

Budgets and customer credits in Slen are units you define to control spending. Slen does not move money and is not a payment or billing service.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Slen available and your data safe, but during the beta we provide the Service “as is” and “as available”, without guarantees of uptime or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change or discontinue features; when a change affects how you use Slen, we will try to tell you in advance.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Slen at any time. To have your account or your organization deleted, write to support@slen.ai from the address of the account; we will confirm when it is done.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or others at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Slen is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for the actions, outputs and charges of the AI providers you connect. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect — by email or in the console. If you keep using Slen after that, the new terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Slen is established. Disputes go to the courts competent there, unless the law of your country gives you the right to go to court where you live.
